I have a passion for teaching. The joy I get out of helping students reach their goals and improve in areas they probably thought they would never succeed in, is wonderful. I specialize in tutoring K-6 grade levels, elementary math and basic life skills. My goal is to always keep the students pushing harder to reach their goal, weather I'm working on phonics, math, teaching laundry techniques or learning how to cook or fill out applications. I provide daily updates, follow up assignments which I don't like to refer to as homework and progress reports. I am always open for change and more reinforcement if necessary. I have an open communication policy. I try to be flexible with my scheduling, I just ask that I am given 2 hours in advance cancellation notice for better convenience for myself as well as the student. I am open to make up classes with advance notice. I look forward to working with you and providing the necessary needs to the road of success. Life Skills Coach 01/2013 to Current Private In Home Tutoring – Newark, NJ Provides key support for doing laundry, washing dishes, utilizing basic kitchen utilities such as: Oven, Toaster, Microwave, blender, etc… Supermarket skills such as: list writing, food purchase and money management. Assist with writing papers, homework and daily reading activities. Financial Skills such as: Develop a Budget and Assist with Bill Paying, Employment Applications, Job Training/Coaching and Problem Solving. I assist my students with academic help and everyday life skills that will help them in their everyday life activities

Hobbies
My hobbies include reading and spending time with my two children. I have a 12years old son and a 7 year old daughter. My children love going to the movies, fun plex and in the summer they love the beach. Sometimes we do arts and crafts in the house or make cupcakes, that's something we all enjoy.
