Bachelors Degree in Sociology and a Master's Degree in Sociology and Social Justice from Kean University. I have obtained lots of knowledge in the field of sociology and can assist in understanding the basics as well as the complex. Research methods is also a big part of the study and i can assist in understanding research methods. I graduated with a 3.5 GPA in the Master's program.
Experience
I have experience in private tutoring, but only in the sense that I was helping peers understand the topic(s) or projects. I enjoy being a tutor because I enjoy the topic and what it entails. I also enjoy helping others for the simple feeling that it feels good. I have taken multiple courses including: Gender and Society, Sociological Research Methods, Inequality in Society, Theories of Sociology and other courses that helped me to have a strong grasp of what sociology entails. Additionally, I work professionally for an insurance company, have completed numerous community service, and have held multiple leadership positions.
